Trip Overview

Have you ever wanted to visit a country that values the arts above all? Then Blue Note Travel’s Cuban Music, Dance & Art Program is perfect for you. It’s specifically designed for people who want to be fully immersed in the distinctive arts scene of Cuba.

Words cannot truly describe the energy of Havana. See the gorgeous seaside architecture on the Malecon (boardwalk). The 500 year old Colonial City of Trinidad is arguably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It’s charming, cobblestone streets are framed by surrounding mountains, waterfalls, and pristine beaches. Experience the warmth of the people welcoming you with smiles and friendly faces. Listen to the music and watch the dancers line the streets. Most of all, Blue Note Travel is dedicated to introducing you to Cuba’s real treasure—its people.

This spectacular tour focuses on our specialty: Cuban music, dance and art. We present several prominent Cuban musicians in Cuba and the United States. We have also been fortunate enough to have arranged and produced over 100 Cuban music performances in the United States over the last several years. Since we are so involved in the jazz, salsa, and son scene in Cuba, we want to make sure you have the best possible musical experience this amazing country has to offer.

On our expert-guided tour, you will be invited to attend some of Havana’s most exclusive finest jazz, salsa, and son performances in the style of the legendary Buena Vista Social Club ensemble. Being around all this music still leaves room for you to see some of Havana’s dance and fine arts scenes as well.

Our mission at Blue Note Travel is to immerse you in this passionate culture to truly have you experience Havana just like a local. People-to-People travel allows even the most seasoned travelers to view Cuba through the lens of the musicians, dancers, artists and locals— an experience that you’d be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the world.
